Logis Hotel De La Maree - Face A L'Ocean - Ile De Re - Rivedoux-Plage

The hotel was in a prime location, just a short distance from the city center and right on the waterfront. the personalized welcome and attention to detail were impressive. the room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, a well-equipped desk, and a balcony with a stunning view of the sea and the lit-up bridge at night. the bathroom was clean and stocked with thoughtful amenities.

We arrived at 10:20 am, only to be told that breakfast was over, even though there were still plenty of people in the dining area and enough food on display. We settled for a coffee, but it was a letdown considering the options we had expected.

This venue boasts a magnificent location for a trip, with a clean room that had air conditioning; also enjoyed dining at a nearby restaurant, Le Platin.

The service, buffet breakfast, and staff rapport are of the highest quality. The rooms facing the water are quite small, and there is no fridge and no tea making facility usually found in this quality of hotel. From the bay outlook rooms the view is lovely.

The staff were excellent, the rooms welcomed you to enjoy a restful break.

The Shower/Bath was never more than tepid

I enjoyed the splendid views of the ocean and the heated swimming pool. Lots of activities to do like canoeing and jet-skiing. I loved the terrace and library.

Who needs proper lighting and safety in the bathroom anyway? Slippery baths are so much fun!

The room is big and fine with amazing views of the bay. Terrific service, they provide a private parking and free Wi-Fi. Thank you very much for the stay this time - would definitely return here...

Very friendly and helpfull staff, tastefull decorated/renovated and cosy hotel, very clean, not too many rooms, excellent breakfast and restaurant. We had one off the larger rooms in the back (extra bed for our 5 year old daughter) with poolview, only a balcony would have been a nice extra. We also took our English Cocker Spaniel with us - that was no problem: when enjoying our drinks on the hotel front patio one of the girls of the staff even brought him a bowl of water without us asking for it.

In the room we missed a fridge.

The restaurant offered a wide selection of delicious breakfast options. Our room was comfortable and had a large TV. - the hotel's location in Rivedoux-Plage was beautiful, being right next to one of the popular bays on the island with lovely restaurants.

Sensational food and very knowledgeable and helpful staff, fantastic sea view, beautiful island, very handy swimming pool and spa when the weather was very hot!

Slightly small room, no tea or coffee facilities but that seems to be a French thing.

Gorgeous sea views, helpful staff, duplex room with sofa bed for our son, heated pool, two restaurants.

Felt totally at home, no complaints at all.

Charging for the hotel car park and no coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

Easy access to all of Ile de Re to explore by bicycle. Having a first class restaurant within the hotel.

A small refrigerator in the room would have been useful.
